Culture is everything to us, so when Rhea made the connection, even though we didn’t have a role at the time, we made it work. It is clear to see now what drew her in from our website and socials - our energy and journey matches hers; it was simply a fit.
From the moment we met Rhea we were instantly drawn to her sunny aura and natural energy. For someone so young she brings a perfect mix of fun and freedom but also a focus that will absolutely be the biggest asset to us moving forward. Rhea has been picking up systems and processes at lightning speed, asking the right questions at the same time as being comfortably self-sufficient.
Rhea is the kind of person who brightens up any room. What have we learnt about her so far? She is a champion at bringing in her favorites for lunch (stuff that I would not think of bringing) - this creates a fair amount of interest every day. Across our three-day weekend you will find her out and about and right now, it’s all about the steps, she walks… a lot! Okay enough from me, let’s hear what Rhea has to say about her journey so far…
Tell us a little bit about your work journey since leaving school?
After leaving Secondary School, I went to Sixth Form and continued with my education, I also worked weekends in retail where I made amazing friends and made lots of memories. Working in retail made me realise how much I love working with people. Once I left Sixth Form I continued to work in retail, picking up more and more hours.
Then Covid hit and I had lots to time to think about a career change. I moved jobs and worked in an Accounts department for a business where I completed my Business Administration apprenticeship. I really enjoyed the learning aspect and completed some AAT exams. After a few years of working there I wanted to progress and find my ‘forever job’…
What made you contact Jacksons?
I came across Jacksons online where I was drawn to the website and the vibe. I read loads about what Jacksons do and how much they care for their clients.
I contacted Sharon in the hope of a potential role in the future, it then led to me meeting her and Pete, and it was so nice to see how much the website reflected their values and culture.
I instantly knew how much I’d love to work for Jacksons.
What’s been the best bit about the move so far?
There are so many positive things about the move - the best decision ever!
Everyone is so lovely here and they made me feel like part of the team the minute I stepped foot into the Hub (it feels like I’ve been here forever). I have had the best support, everyone is so patient and always happy to help. I absolutely love the work environment and doing things the Jacksons' way. I am so grateful to be part of such an amazing team and I’m so excited for my future here at Jacksons.
What would you say to anyone else looking to get into a role in financial planning?
Do it, and do it at Jacksons if you want a more open and free-thinking way of learning about finance and your financial journey.
What do you do for fun?
One of the things I love doing the most is going for a beach walk and venturing to a café for a hot drink and a bite to eat. I have recently been enjoying gym classes after work such as body step, spinning and getting my daily 10k steps in.
I love spending time with my friends and family, no matter what we do we always have a great time - company is everything!


What we have to say about Rhea
Me again, (Sharon) I feel like I need to jump in here, Rhea has stuck to the brief to give us a little insight into who she really is but has also gone into serious mode, so let me tell you of the other stuff she has been involved with so far.
Rhea has gained numerous nicknames in the hub, far more than anyone else due to her happy aura and love of having a bit of banter! She even named our latest project Rejiggle Wiggle after numerous efforts from the team come up with something fun, Rhea was straight in with something that has stuck!
What Rhea hasn’t told you is that her fun game is equally matched by her focus, she cares about helping our clients a lot but also with kindness and a smile. It’s been a real privilege having Rhea in the hub, watching her grow each day. Big things are coming and the whole team will be right behind her!
Rhea is brilliant at communicating with anyone about anything, she just has that ‘thing’ that speaks to all people! If you get a chance to talk to Rhea, know that she will always do her very best to help you and will be smiling on the other end of the phone!
