If you’d like us to create a full planning report including cashflow modelling, there is a difference depending on what phase of your financial life you are in:
Build Wealth
If you are at the Building Wealth stage, where it's about accumulation for the future - the planning fee is £3,495 plus VAT. This is true whether you opt for a one-off consultation or working together.
Retirement Planning
For those in the Retirement Planning phase, where the work includes withdrawal strategies for when you retire, the planning fee is £4,295 plus VAT. This is true whether you opt for a one-off consultation or working together.
Implementation: If we implement any of our recommendations for you, the cost is £995 in total, with no VAT to pay
(note, if we implement our recommendations within a few weeks of producing our planning report, you won't pay VAT on the cost of the planning, either).
Ongoing advice costs
Our ongoing advice fees are a maximum of 0.75% (no VAT) per year of the money we look after for you, with this figure reducing for portfolios over £750,000. Here's how the tiers break down:
Up To £750,000 invested - 0.75% per year
£750,000 to £1 million - 0.70% per year
£1 million to £2 million - 0.65% per year
Over £2 million - 0.60% per year
We also have a loyalty scheme whereby fees are reduced by a further 0.05% after seven and 14 years with us.
When your invested assets cross a given threshold, the whole amount will be subject to the new fee level, not just the amount over the threshold. This is normally reviewed at your Beyond The Numbers review meeting.
We charge on a family basis, so the total family assets under our care are added together when working out the fee rate charged.
(Note that platform and fund fees are in addition to the advice costs.)
