Eliza's Work Experience

This week, we have been joined by Eliza for a week as she learns about our industry.

Over the past few days, Eliza has shadowed several of the Jacksons team to learn about the different jobs we have and how they work together to support our clients. You can watch the video below to see how she got on!

Isn't she brilliant? We were all so impressed by the way Eliza held herself, asking insightful questions and she picked up information super quickly. But let's hear what she had to say about her experience, here is Eliza in her own words:

"I have enjoyed spending the week with Jacksons, everyone here is extremely friendly and has made it easy for me to ask questions. I have spent time with: CRMs (client relationship managers), paraplanners, and advisers. My highlight of the week was filming the interview with Kate, it was different from the rest of the job roles but still equally as important. I also enjoyed sitting in on client calls listening to the advisers in action, and the cash flow charts were interesting to see how changing a small component can help the clients future."

The team loved having Eliza in the office, here's what some of them had to say:

"Eliza was a joy to have in the office, she was focussed and inquisitive and she really understood the importance of marketing. She was a natural on camera and she's welcome back any time!" - Kate (Marketing and Communications Coordinator)

"Eliza spent a couple of hours with me, I showed her the key aspects of my role as a paraplanner, letter and report writing, provider research and cashflow modelling. She was very attentive, asking lots of questions and took a particular interest in the cashflow modelling." - Ellis (Paraplanner)

"I went through some of my tasks with Eliza to give her an idea of the variety of work we do as Customer Relationship Managers. Eliza picked everything up very quickly, said that she found it logical and that it was easy to follow the processes. Eliza asked and answered questions with ease. She was a joy to spend time with and I wish her every success in her future career." - Carrie (CRM)
